Zeke Taylor Barbecue
When: SECOND SATURDAY in NOVEMBER
Where: Clemenceau School auditorium, 10:30am - 2:00pm
Begun in 1991 by cowboy/rancher, Zeke Taylor, as a fundraiser for the Museum, the tradition is carried on by Don Godard, who slow roasts succulent beef in a pit of mesquite coals. For a nominal cost, a delicious dinner of BBQ beef, beans, slaw, beverage and dessert is served up to a hungry crowd, that enjoys entertainment along with the meal.
Yard Sale
When: Summer weekend (TBD)
Where: Clemenceau School auditorium
Useful, interesting and valuable items donated by Museum supporters are arranged for sale - in the air-conditioned school auditorium - with all proceeds directly benefiting the Clemenceau Heritage Museum. Pick up a bargain and contribute financially to the Museum to help it preserve and display the artifacts and heritage – written, spoken and living – of the Verde Valley.
Vote on Bylaws
@ Annual Membership Meeting

For a non-profit, Bylaws are the organization's operating manual that outlines how it will function. Bylaws define the structure, roles, and procedures for governance, including the size and function of the board, election processes, officer roles and operating rules. Bylaws help protect the organization from potential problems by clearly outlining rules around authority levels, rights, and expectations.
A revision to the Bylaws of the Verde Historical Society (VHS) has been prepared, to be voted on by VHS Members at the Annual Membership Meeting, which is scheduled for January 31, 2025.
All current members may vote.

Arts & Crafts American Style
When: SECOND SATURDAY in FEBRUARY, 9am - 4pm
Where: Clemenceau School auditorium
This show features talented Verde Valley artists and craftsmen displaying stained glass, jewelry, dolls, pottery, woodwork, western items, original paintings and photography and lots more.
A $1 entrance fee benefits the Museum.
Light refreshments are available.
